A family run business trading for over 40 years in Northamptonshire.
Our door to door collection service is unique to the industry as the first to offer a special collection service or collection by appointment, for missed bags for any reason. We are also one if not the only commercial partner to supply the Air Ambulance shops with stock on a weekly basis. Since our service started in 2007 we have paid over 2 million pounds through our door to door collection to The Air Ambulance Service. We are very proactive with the authorities to combat bogus or illegal collections and report all instances, Our aim is to stop used clothing being dumped in landfill which annually equates to, in 2015 350,000 tonnes from households went to landfill, 300,000 tonnes in 2016, a 14% drop and a step in the right direction. The Air Ambulance Service operates the regional helicopter emergency medical services for Warwickshire & Northamptonshire and Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland and the national paediatric transfer service, Children’s Air Ambulance.
For every tonne of clothing we collect, we donate a minimum of £105 to The Air Ambulance Service.
Every day of the year, your local Air Ambulance (Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) is helping save more lives. Their critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of 10 rescue missions a day. They deliver lifesaving care within minutes to those in greatest need. Children’s Air Ambulance is an inter-hospital transfer service flying critically ill babies and children from one hopsital to another for specialist care.
With their ability to fly approximately four times faster than a land ambulance, they can minimise travel times and the risk for little patients.
Our team is passionate about understanding the impact our business has on the environment, which is why we are looking to revolutionise our industry.
With the busy lives the population now leads, companies are striving to find ever increasing ways to make the items we buy more convenient to use and cheaper to purchase. Over time, this has impacted our environment significantly.
But it’s time to take responsibility and make a change!
Our aim over the next 5 years is to greatly reduce the number of plastic bags we currently distribute by replacing them with leaflets and the introduction of our new online booking collection service, which will eliminate the need for excess plastic bag distribution.
Let us know where we need to collect your unwanted clothing from, simply use our handy address finder to locate your address. Minimum collection is 2 bags.
When you’re ready, click ‘Book Your Collection’. A member of the team will be in touch to arrange your collection.
